Rev. Dr. Tod E. Bolsinger
Rev. Dr. Tod E. Bolsinger is the vice-president and chief of Leadership Formation, and assistant professor of Practical Theology at Fuller Theological Seminary. For seventeen years, he was the senior pastor of San Clemente Presbyterian Church in San Clemente, Calif. after serving for ten years on the pastoral staff at First Presbyterian Church of Hollywood. He earned a Ph.D. in Theology and Master of Divinity from Fuller Theological Seminary. He is the author of three books, including Canoeing the Mountains: Christian Leadership in Uncharted Territory, and It Takes a Church to Raise a Christian: How the community of God transforms lives. He speaks, consults and is an executive coach in transformational leadership for corporate, non-profit, educational, and church organizations.
Tod is married to Beth, an executive coach, consultant, and professional artist. They have two young-adult children, Brooks and Ali. An avid outdoor lover, if Tod hadn’t taken biology after lunch in high school, he would have been a National Park Ranger. When he retires, he is going to be a ski host who puts four people on every quad chair lift.

Rev. Dr. Walter A. Maier III joined the Exegetical Department of Concordia Theological Seminary in Fort Wayne, Ind. (CTSFW) in November 1989, and specializes in Hebrew and Old Testament studies.
He received his A.A. from Concordia College, Ann Arbor, Mich. (1972); B.A. from Concordia Senior College, Fort Wayne, Ind. (1974); M.Div. from CTSFW (1978); and M.A. and Ph.D. from Harvard University, Cambridge, Mass. (1984).
He taught in the Theology Department of Concordia University, River Forest, Ill. (1984-1989; chairman, 1989). He was assistant pastor at Concordia Lutheran Church, Fort Wayne, Ind. from December 1989 through November 1992.
His doctoral dissertation on Asherah, a Canaanite goddess, was published in 1986 in the Harvard Semitic Monographs series. He contributed a number of articles to the Anchor Bible Dictionary and has published articles in various journals. He has written 1 Kings 1-11 (published May 2018) for the Concordia Commentary series, and his 1 Kings 12-22for that series is scheduled to be published in May 2019. Currently he is writing the commentary on 2 Kings. Maier is also one of the regular preachers on the cable T.V. program “Worship Anew.”

Rev. Dr. Dale A. Meyer is president of Concordia Seminary in St. Louis, Mo. He also serves as a professor of practical theology.
He completed his B.A. (1969) at Concordia Senior College, Fort Wayne, Ind. and earned his M.Div. (1973) from Concordia Seminary in St. Louis, Mo. He earned an M.A. (1974) and a Ph.D. (1986) in classical languages from Washington University in St. Louis. He is also the recipient of an honorary doctorate (1993) from Concordia Theological Seminary in Fort Wayne, Ind.
Meyer began his pastoral career serving as pastor of St. Salvator Lutheran Church in Venedy, Ill. and St. Peter Lutheran Church in New Memphis, Ill., 1974–1981. He served on the faculty of Concordia Seminary, St. Louis as a guest instructor, 1979–1981, and as an assistant professor and director of Resident Field Education, 1981–1984. From 1984–1988, he served as senior pastor at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, Collinsville, Ill.
Meyer was a speaker on The Lutheran Hour radio program, 1989–2001. He joined the Seminary faculty in 2001 and became its president in 2005. Through 2003, he was also the host of the television show On Main Street. He has written numerous sermons and columns for Lutheran Hour Ministries; he has co-authored Bible studies and has regularly contributed articles to academic journals.
Meyer has served The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod (LCMS) and the Church-at-large over the years in several capacities, including third vice-president of the LCMS, 1995–1998.
Meyer has been speaking and preaching on the road for over 25 years. His areas of interest and study include: 1 Peter, the Church in a changing culture, and the Sabbath applied to life today.
He resides in St. Louis with his wife Diane. They have two grown daughters: Elizabeth (Darren) Pittman and Catharine (Charles) Bailey, and five grandsons: Christian, Connor, and Nicholas Pittman and Andrew and Jacob Bailey.

The Rev. Dr. Lawrence R. Rast Jr. serves as president of Concordia Theological Seminary, Fort Wayne, Ind. (CTSFW), and professor of American Christianity and American Lutheranism. Dr. Rast joined the Department of Historical Theology in the fall of 1996 after serving as pastor of Ascension Lutheran Church, Madison, Tenn. (1992-96).
He received his B.A. in Theological Languages from Concordia College, River Forest, Ill. (1986), and his M.Div. (1990) and S.T.M. (1995) from CTSFW. In 2000 he received the M.A. degree and, in 2003, he earned his Ph.D. in American Church History from Vanderbilt University, Nashville, Tenn.
Dr. Rast is a member of the Board of Directors for the journal Lutheran Quarterly. He is the chairman of the LCMS Commission on Theology and Church Relations (CTCR), on which he has served since 2006. He has authored numerous articles on a wide range of topics and regularly presents at workshops, retreats, and conferences around the United States. He has also taught in many countries.
Dr. Rast’s favorite hobbies include Civil War history, music, and trains. He and his wife Amy have three children.

Rev. Dr. Erik H. Herrmann is associate professor of Historical Theology, chairman of the Department of Historical Theology, director of Concordia Theology, and director of the Center for Reformation Research at Concordia Seminary, St. Louis (CSL). Dr. Herrmann graduated from Concordia University Wisconsin with a B.A. in 1995, and received both an M.Div. (2000) and Ph.D. (2005) from CSL. Before being called to the faculty, he was an assistant pastor at Timothy Evangelical Lutheran Church in St. Louis.
His areas of interest and research include the history of biblical interpretation, with a particular focus on Martin Luther and the Reformation period; history of medieval and Reformation/early modern Europe; 20th century interpretations of Martin Luther and his theology; and the history of American Lutheranism. His most recent publications are in The Oxford Handbook of Martin Luther’s Theology, The Oxford Encyclopedia of Martin Luther, The Annotated Luther, and God’s Two Words: Law and Gospel in the Lutheran and Reformed Traditions. He served as the consulting historian for the PBS documentary, Martin Luther: The Idea that Changed the World, aired in 2017.
He is married to Aliesha. They are blessed with five children: Augustine, Constansa, Mathias, Tobias, and Elspeth.
