The Department of Veterans Affairs has provided suicide prevention resources for pastors to effectively serve veterans and their families. The information contained in these documents give pastors the resources needed to assist veterans who may be thinking of harming themselves. Pastors are encouraged to take the time to look through this material and consider becoming an intervention point, learning how to talk to a veteran to move them towards receiving advanced professional help.
