CROSSES FOR CHRIST –
PLANT A CROSS AND PROCLAIM YOUR FAITH

It All Started in Frankenmuth

Years ago, an atheist living in Frankenmuth complained about two crosses on a bridge in town. He requested they be removed, and the town removed them. Following that success, he demanded the city shield should also be changed since on it, along with other symbols, it had a heart with a cross inside, signifying the city’s Christian beginnings. At that point, the residents of Frankenmuth decided they had enough. Hundreds of residents made their opinions known by placing various size crosses in their front yards. Seeing this quiet but powerful statement from the community, the man withdrew his request.

This white cross is a quiet, non-aggressive witness to our faith in Christ as Savior and Lord. It provides a much-needed message to our culture. Plant a white cross in your front yard or front garden for all to see and proclaim your faith.

The crosses being distributed at this convention are made by Marvin and Elaine Ihnen, members of Our Shepherd, Birmingham. The funding for these crosses has been provided by Christ Our Savior, Livonia.
