Immanuel Lutheran Church & School in Macomb is giving away ALL of their Easter offerings. They are calling this donation “Reckless Love.” This donation will equal $40,000 or more, and will be going to support four charities in the Macomb County area. Those charities are:
MISD Homeless Student Education
Lead Pastor Greg Griffith says, “Jesus taught that if we let go and live with reckless love, we will have life to its fullest. We believe that, through prayer and partnership, we can save a life, change a life, and share the love of Jesus as an extension of His hands and heart.”
Update: on Sunday, April 29, 2018 the congregation at Immanuel learned that $48,000 was raised during seven Easter services.
