2019 Jr. High Gathering Recap1 min read

Over 350 junior high youth from Lutheran churches throughout Michigan gathered in Frankenmuth on May 31–June 2, 2019 for this year’s Michigan District Jr. High Youth Gathering. The theme was #TRUTH—“And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free” (John 8:32). The event consisted of mass gatherings, servant events, sectionals, and a special evening devotion at St. Lorenz Lutheran Church.

On Saturday afternoon, four breakout sectionals were offered on the campus of St. Lorenz Lutheran School. Each sectional ran for 45 minutes and was offered four times throughout the day. Sectionals included titles such as #Lies, #IsThisRealLife, and Visual Faith (click here to be redirected to a blog written by Visual Faith Coach Valerie Matyas, in which she describes what the youth did during the Visual Faith sectional).

Thank you to all leaders who brought their youth to Frankenmuth for a weekend of fun, fellowship, and growth. Click on the recap video below to have a taste of what it was like to be there. Photos can be found on our Facebook page (look for 2019 Jr. High album).
