The ability to lovingly speak hard truths is an essential skill in all relationships, but even more so in the ministry. Most of us would rather keep our mouths shut and avoid potential conflict than speak up and challenge that which needs to be challenged for the sake of the relationship. We need the kind of friends and family members who love us enough to tell us when we are off base or who will tell us when we have fallen short of our best effort. For the sake of healthy relationships and healthy ministries, we need to be the kind of people who are willing and able to have the difficult conversations that will strengthen our ministry. Please join us for the Quest retreat this winter, January 13 and 14, as we lay the foundation of speaking the truth in love in ministry. This retreat is designed for those who were newly ordained or commissioned into parish ministry in 2021 or 2022 as well as their spouses.
