The Katie 2022

Very Ordinary Grace: Life in Relationship

April 1, 2022 - April 3, 2022
Bay City, MI

The theme for 2022 is Very Ordinary Grace: Life in Relationship, based on Ephesians 6:24. Every relationship we’re a part of adds layers of both joy and heartache to our lives. The book of Ephesians brings insight as we live as family members, friends, neighbors, online connections, the Body of Christ, and more. How does God’s very ordinary grace bring vulnerability, accountability, and safety to each relationship and season of life?

A note regarding masks during the COVID-19 pandemic:  The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) has provided mask guidance that flexes based on three key COVID-19 phases (response, recovery, and readiness).  The Michigan District will follow any mask mandates by the MDHHS, local health departments, or venues that are in place at the time of an event or conference. Masks are generally available at the registration desk. If you are feeling unwell or have any symptoms of COVID prior to arrival, please stay home.

Craft Project: I am Blessed Card Holder/Memory Holder

If you have a stash of “special” greeting cards/notes that you have received and saved because you just can’t throw them away, this craft is for you. We will be making a card holder that can also become a memory holder. The basic craft will involve creating a book cover (think 3-ring binder without the 3-ring part) that we will use to hold the cards. Cards can be from a variety of people and events, keeping with our theme that focuses on ordinary grace and the relationships in our lives. If you want to turn your card holder into a memory holder, you can include prayers, notes, pictures, and comments on the cards. Join us to learn how.

Space is limited to the first 20 registrations. Please indicate if you’d like to participate on your online registration submission.
