This is a one-day event designed especially for our early childhood directors in the District. We want to gather for worship, fellowship, and learning, and will mix in a little bit of fun. Adam Peterson, who is the keynote at our EC Conference the day after, will be joining us, and it is our hope that our new District President is able to be there as well. After a blessed day, the evening will be a time to enjoy the hospitality of downtown Frankenmuth. We look forward to a good group of administrators attending our 2nd annual Directors Day!
A note regarding masks during the COVID-19 pandemic: The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) has provided mask guidance that flexes based on three key COVID-19 phases (response, recovery, and readiness). The Michigan District will follow any mask mandates by the MDHHS, local health departments, or venues that are in place at the time of an event or conference. Adam Peterson
Adam Peterson is an award-winning educator, author, and internationally recognized speaker. After spending more than a decade as a Kindergarten teacher, Adam now uses his knowledge and talents to inspire, educate, and motivate other teachers to create classrooms that encourage creativity, play, and hands-on learning. He is the author of Teach, Play, Learn! and was a featured speaker at TEDxNormal 2019. Adam shared his message of making the world a brighter place through his Make Someone’s Day Yellow talk and his #betheyellow campaign, and is on a constant mission to bring this to schools and communities.
