Students Make 300 Blankets for the Homeless Children of Macomb1 min read

There are currently over 1,500 children homeless in Macomb County. The students of Immanuel, Macomb are working to help them stay warm.

Students raised $3,500 to buy the materials they needed to gather in the chapel and make 300 blankets to give to The Macomb Charitable Foundation.

Macomb Charitable is a non-profit organization run solely by volunteers whose purpose is to reach out to the children in the community who are homeless or living below poverty level. The organization will distribute these blankets to homeless children throughout Macomb.

This initiative included all students and teachers at every grade level, K-8.
