Worship at the Michigan International Speedway2 min read

A unique opportunity is again available to the congregations of the Michigan District through our partnership with Michigan International Speedway in Brooklyn. Just as we did in June of last year, we will hold a Sunrise Worship Service at the central tent in Fan Plaza on Sunday, June 9, at 9:45 a.m. Our goal is to share the Gospel with everyone we can encourage to come to our tent and be touched by the Word of God.

Through the generosity of Michigan International Speedway, those attending the Sunrise Worship Service will be able to purchase advance tickets for the 2 p.m. NASCAR race at a significantly reduced price. Reduced price packages for the other weekend race and events are also available, as well as reduced price camping packages for those who are interested in making it a camping weekend. For more information, click here.

The Here We Stand campaign will also benefit from your attendance. Michigan International Speedway is giving $5 from every ticket purchased through this promotional event to the campaign, and the offering at the worship service will go to Here We Stand. To order tickets, click here (please beware that a $5 per ticket service fee has been added for online purchases. If you wish to forgo this service fee, you can purchase your race tickets by calling Nino Nuccio at 517.745.5224). Please also note that there is no charge to attend the 9:45 a.m. Sunrise Worship Service in Fan Plaza.

Please consider coming to this special worship opportunity and take in a NASCAR race. Even if you are not a NASCAR fan, it is a worship experience you will enjoy. If you are a NASCAR fan, this is your opportunity to buy tickets at a savings and attend an inspiring worship service. Please think about bringing a group from your church, and help us spread the word in your church and community. You can download a media kit from our website.

Thank you for your consideration, and we hope to see you on June 9 at Michigan International Speedway.
