Do we live in such a way that people are curious about what motivates us to live distinctively different lives? And if they did ask us, would we be prepared to give an account of the hope that is within us?
Don’t miss our Congregational Ministry Summit on Saturday, January 31 at the St. Lorenz Worship and Event Center in Frankenmuth. This event will help you be better prepared to live a life that evokes questions and to give an account of that inner hope in Christ.
Rev. Dr. Michael Zeigler of Lutheran Hour Ministries will be the keynote speaker, followed by several different breakouts in the afternoon. The theme verse is 1 Peter 3:15 “… but in your hearts honor Christ the Lord as holy, always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you; yet do it with gentleness and respect.”
If you stay in Frankenmuth after this event, you will be able to join the Michigan LLL’s Lutheran Hour Rally on Sunday, February 1, at 2 p.m. with Rev. Dr. Michael Zeigler as speaker. In order to prepare for the events, we encourage you to engage with an excellent Bible study provided by Lutheran Hour Ministries entitled Patient Urgency. These video-based materials are great for individual study or with a small group. They are free from our ministry partners at Lutheran Hour Ministries if you create an account and log in.
Please plan to join us. Find more information about the Congregational Ministry Summit and register now at michigandistrict.org/event/live-to-tell-about-it/.
