The Michigan District Board of Directors (BOD) is hosting four listening forums this fall. The Board would like to hear from you regarding (1) what you believe are the biggest challenges in our district right now; (2) what problems your congregation is facing right now; (3) what characteristics you think we need in the next district president; among other things. All church workers, convention delegates, lay leaders, and laity are invited to come to one of these four events in preparation for the 2022 Michigan District Convention. The first listening forum took place at Peace, Saginaw on September 18, with an attendance of around 40 people.
The three remaining forums will be held at:
St. Michael, Portage on October 2, 2021 – 10 a.m.-12 p.m. (A continental breakfast will be provided).
Guardian, Dearborn on October 5, 2021 – 7-9 p.m. (Snacks will be provided).
Zoom Meeting on October 6, 2021 – 7-9 p.m.
