Reformation 500 … 2022 Edition1 min read

Looking for a meaningful, purpose-filled summer activity? How about something that pairs physical activity with fundraising for ministry? Enter The Reformation 500Walk Run Bike. The Reformation 500 is a challenge to groups to complete 500 miles in 5 months and raise money in the process.

Members of congregations and schools are encouraged to form teams that will work together to complete 500 miles by walking, running, and/or biking from May to September of 2022, collecting donations and/or pledges for the miles completed. The Reformation 500 gives members in the Michigan District an opportunity to come together to financially benefit individual congregations and schools while supporting the Here We Stand campaign, as well as enjoying a summer of physical activity. Of course, you do not need to be part of a group to participate—individuals are welcome to take up the challenge as well!

The Here We Stand campaign officially ends this summer, so this will be the last Reformation 500 challenge. Don’t miss the chance to participate! For more information, click here.
