The Michigan District welcomed five pastoral candidates and four vicars to its roster this week.
On Monday, April 24 and Tuesday, April 25, two separate worship services took place at Concordia Theological Seminary, Fort Wayne, Ind. (CTSFW) for assignment of vicarage and internships and for call placements, respectively. Adam Hiles was assigned as a vicar to Historic Trinity, Detroit, and the following pastoral candidates received their first placement in the Michigan District: Nicholas Gapski (Family of God and Saint Stephen, Detroit); Micah Brooks (St. Luke, Nunica); and Carl Petzold (Hope, St. Helen and St. John, West Branch).
On Wednesday, April 26, Concordia Seminary in St. Louis, Mo. (CSL) held two separate worship services for assignment of vicarage and internships and for call placements, respectively. Vicars assigned to the Michigan District are Daniel Bueckman (Messiah, Clio), Noah Pieper (Our Savior, Lansing), and Joshua Teggatz (St. Lorenz, Frankenmuth). Candidates receiving their first placement in Michigan from CSL are Moses Dangba (Living Word, Lansing) and Joel Werner (Christ Our Savior, Livonia).
