This is an edited transcription of the video released by President Maier on June 25, 2020. See video below.
Hope is Here began at the very onset of the COVID-19 crisis. It was an opportunity to share a word of hope in a very difficult national circumstance, a national crisis which none of us had ever faced before. I’m very mindful of Paul’s words in Ephesians 1. Please listen: “I do not cease to give thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers, that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of him, having the eyes of your hearts enlightened, that you may know what is the HOPE to which he has called you, what are the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints, and what is the immeasurable greatness of his power toward us who believe, according to the working of his great might that he worked in Christ when he raised him from the dead” (Ephesians 1:16-20 ESV).
“That you may know what is the hope to which he has called you.”
In every circumstance of life, in every day of life, friends, we need hope—and that was part of the reason for which we did this ministry. We pray that it continues to bless you, but we also want you to know that, as I pick up my particular schedule, I’m going to be traveling around the District again and I am not always going to be in a place where I can record a video presentation. But we are going to continue doing this on a regular basis. It is our prayer and desire to do this once or twice every week and to continue to let you know through social media and email when that is taking place. We thank you so much for your words of encouragement and your prayers for the continued blessing of Hope is Here, and we pray that you would continue to do both of these: encourage and pray for Hope is Here, that it would be a continuing blessing for those who tune in and listen.
Thank you very much for your kind support and for your understanding. We’re going to weigh all the comments that you continue to send our way and we pray God’s richest blessing upon this ministry and upon your life. May you continue to find your living hope in our living Lord Jesus Christ, knowing that the best is always yet to come. Thank you.
