Girls of Grace1 min read

“I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship” (Romans 12:1 ESV).

The Bible verse above guides the instructors and the girls who make up the Girls of Grace Christian Dance Ministry of St. Lorenz, Frankenmuth. Through their dance, they offer their hearts to God in worship, and humbly pray for those who see them dance. The girls dance not for themselves, but only to give God glory.

That is why, when you see the girls dancing, their hands, eyes, and movements, are lifted up to God! The girls want their audience to experience God’s presence by drawing their attention up to Him. As they dance, they grow closer to their Lord and Savior.

The Girls of Grace participate regularly in worship services at St. Lorenz as well as chapel services at St. Lorenz School. They also perform at a variety of events throughout the State of Michigan, and are involved in a variety of service projects within the community, including volunteer work at the Saginaw Rescue Mission.

Each spring, the Girls of Grace conduct an annual concert. This year, their 14th annual worship concert titled “Something Beautiful” will take place April 6 and 7 at the Temple Theatre in Saginaw.

The girls rehearse regularly as needed to support special performances and projects. They conduct dance workshops upon request and are developing the next generation of Girls of Grace through “Future Girls of Grace” workshops.

Please consider inviting family and friends to this popular concert which features interpretive, worshipful dance, drama, live art and musical presentations, media, and personal testimonies. Reserved tickets are $15 and $12 and are available at templetheatre.com or by calling 877.754.7469.
