Serving God1 min read

To celebrate National Lutheran Schools Week, we have collected devotions written by elementary school children. The following was written by a student named Jack from Trinity Monitor Lutheran School in Bay City.

“Even as the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many” (Matthew 20:28).

My dad serves me.  He gives me things when I need them, and he does fun things. He likes to drive around with me and do things with me.

Just like my dad, Jesus does everything for us. He can do everything. He does everything for us, and he even died for us.

Here is the most important thing to remember: Jesus is our Savior. He can do anything.

Prayer:

Dear God, please help more people to believe in you. In Jesus’s name, Amen.
