After careful consideration, the joint conference committee made a decision to cancel the One Michigan One Mission Conference scheduled for October 14-16, 2020. The conference committee based the decision upon the uncertainty of large gatherings and the safety of participants.
Despite not being able to come together in person this fall, we are still committed to your professional growth and development. Stay-tuned on details for virtual professional learning opportunities from both MANS and Michigan District, LCMS. Please refer to the events tab on m-a-n-s.org and michigandistrict.org for 2020-2021 opportunities.

Ed Stetzer
Ed Stetzer holds the Billy Graham Distinguished Chair for Church, Mission, and Evangelism at Wheaton College. Ed also serves as the Executive Director of the Billy Graham Center for Evangelism at Wheaton, and as chair of the Evangelism and Leadership Program in the Graduate School. Ed is a prolific author, and well-known conference speaker. He has planted, revitalized, and pastored churches, trained pastors and church planters on six continents, holds two masters degrees and two doctorates, and has written or co-written a dozen books and hundreds of articles. Stetzer is a contributing editor for Christianity Today, a columnist for Outreach Magazine, and is frequently cited or interviewed in news outlets such as USAToday and CNN. He is also the Executive Editor of The Gospel Project, which is used by over 1 million individuals each week. Stetzer also co-hosts BreakPoint This Week, a radio broadcast that airs on over 400 media outlets.

Sheri Wohlfert
Sheri is a wife, mom, speaker, and teacher. She uses her great sense of humor and her deep faith to help others discover the joy of being a child of God. Her roots are in Kansas, but her home is in Michigan. The mission of her ministry is to encourage others to take a good look at the simple ways we can all find God doing joyful, blessed, amazing things smack dab in the middle of the laundry, ball games, farm chores, and the hundred other things we manage to cram into a day.
Sheri has a degree in Secondary Education from Emporia State University in Emporia, Kan. and a Masters degree in Elementary Education from Aquinas College in Grand Rapids, Mich. She is a certified Religious Education Instructor for the Diocese of Lansing.

The Michigan Association of Non-Public Schools (MANS) and Michigan District-LCMS are proud to sponsor ArtPraise: A Faith-Based Student Art Competition taking place October 15-16, 2020 at the ONE Michigan ONE Mission Conference. Students who are ages Pre-K – Grade 12 currently attending a MANS member school are invited to create an original piece of art in any medium reflecting this year’s theme “One community in Christ.” Conference participants will vote for their favorite art submission Thursday and prizes for the top three winners will be awarded Friday. All submissions will be highlighted on social media.
