“Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit by itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in me.  I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing” (John 15:4–5 ESV).

Abide. It seems simple: not working, not doing, not planning, not preparing, not teaching, not preaching, not organizing, not leading … just abiding. Simple, yet hard. When was the last time you had the opportunity or took the time to abide with Jesus—to be nourished, encouraged, forgiven, strengthened, and filled … by Him? During our PCWC 23, we will abide … as we worship together, receive together, and laugh together. We will celebrate and challenge one another—not only in the sharing of new ideas for ministry, but sharing a way of being and doing life and ministry together in Jesus! It’s time to abide.
